Feb. 27 -
The Lady Stars cap off their regular season holding onto the 7th seed and last spot to qualify for the NJCAA District W Championships. The Stars will travel on Tuesday, March 3rd to Mount Pleasant, MI to take on the #2 Seed Mid Michigan Community College. The game will start at 5:30pm at Morrey Courts in Mount Pleasant.
Finishing the year with a 12-17 record and 7th place in the conference, the Stars started the year strong until Freshman Jada Moorehead broke her hand sidelining her for the remainder of the season. With Moorehead out the Stars were led by Freshman Tori Blackman in scoring followed by Freshman Abigail Koneval and Freshman Georgia Hill. Sophomore Celia Ridsdale provided on the court leadership to help the Stars qualify for post season play.
