Ranney Park, Lansing, MI - With the Lansing Community College softball team taking the first of two games against Jackson College on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017 by a score of 9-1 in five (5) innings, they secured their outright second straight Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Conference Championship. With a conference record of 28-4 and overall record of 35-13-1 they will play on Saturday, May 6th at 2:00 pm at Delta College for a chance to win the MCCAA State Championship. They play Mott CC in the semifinal and with a win they will play the winner of Kalamazoo Valley CC and Oakland CC to the title.
