The Lansing Community College men's basketball team will carry a six-game winning streak into Monday's state championship game with Schoolcraft College.
The NJCAA Division II No. 4-ranked Stars (26-3) defeated the Ocelots (19-10) in overtime, 90-80, in their only meeting on Dec. 2. Schoolcraft was the nation's top-ranked team at the time.
LCC won the MCCAA Western Conference title outright Friday night with an 88-78 victory over Ancilla. The Ocelots are the champions of the Eastern Conference and have won 11 straight games.
The game will be held at Gannon Gymnasium in downtown Lansing and begins at 7 p.m.
