Lansing's Maya Ferland leads the way for post season honors for the LCC Volleyball program by earning Player Of the Year honors for the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Western Conference.
With this Maya has been named NJCAA Region XII All Region Team, and All MCCAA Team.
Maya ranked in the top 5 in Kills (5th), Hitting Percentage (1st), Solo Blocks (1st), Blocks Per Set (4th), and Points Per Set (5th), in the conference. She ranked 9th in Kills Per Set, 6th in Total Blocks, 6th in Total Points as well.
Ferland is joined by teammates who also earned honors: Allison Couturier (First Team All Conference), Chyanna Caster (Second Team All Conference, All Freshman Team), Harley Roe (Second Team All Conference), and Mackenzie Winger (Honorable Mention All Conference).
