Bio

Corrine Williams joins the Stars as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2023-24 season. A Connecticut native, she recently moved to Lansing for a job at Michigan State University.

 

Williams was a 3x captain for the Boston University women’s basketball team (2014-18) averaging 7.0 points, 1.9 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals throughout her career. She also made the Patriot League All-Academic team (2016, 2018). She finished her collegiate career starting 89 of 102 games played, scoring 719 points and grabbing 438 rebounds.

 

Before Boston University, she played four years of varsity basketball at Bloomfield High School. She was named Rookie of the Year as a Freshman, Most Outstanding Player as a sophomore, Most Valuable Player as a junior and an All-State honoree in her senior season. Williams was a four-time Central Connecticut State Conference Selection and finished her career with 1,281 points.

 

Off the court, Williams works in student affairs at MSU as a Coordinator of Student Engagement & Belonging in the College of Residential Arts and Humanities. She enjoys reading, strength training, watching WNBA basketball and getting out in nature.
