Men

October 13 – Fall like conditions were evident for another large invitational with 20 plus teams competing this Friday.  The LCC men showed up in a big way winning the invitational, avenging their home loss to Siena Heights from a week ago.  Alex McCormick, Blake Watson, and Shawn Bell broke 26 minutes for the 8K for the 2nd week in a row running 25:33, 25:33, and 25:42 for 6th, 7th, and 10th place overall.  Jacob Ferguson improved his time from a week ago running 27:03 for 32nd place, while Deion Feldpausch finished in 27:22 for 45th place.  Carlos Soto nearly broke into the team's top 5 also running 27:22, while Max Pasche ran 27:31.

LCC has the next week off, but will be back in action at Grand Woods Park in Lansing for the Regional Championships on Saturday, October 28th!

 

Women

October 13 – Fall like conditions were evident for another large invitational with 20 plus teams competing this Friday.  The LCC women competed well placing 3rd place behind eventual winner Hope and runner up Siena Heights.  Ashley Lindeman lead the team again with a consistent 18:37 for 4th place.  Kirsten McGahan broke into the 18s again running 18:58 for 12th place.  Emma Fifarek and Ericka Hunter both ran 20:14 for 52nd and 54th place.  Alyssa Mankey was LCC's 5th runner with a 20:25 for 64th place.  The top 7 were rounded out by Emma Distelrath and Emily Wohlfert in 20:28 and 20:35.

LCC has the next week off, but will be back in action at Grand Woods Park in Lansing for the Regional Championships on Saturday, October 28th!
