The Lansing Community College Men's Basketball team ends it's regular season with a 13-17 record but winning 4 of their last 5 to secure the 5th seed in the NJCAA District W tournament. The Stars will travel to Kellogg CC on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7:00pm to take on the Bruins for a spot in the District Semifinals to be held at Grand Rapids Community College on Friday, March 6th.
The Stars have been led all year by a strong sophomore presence of Tevin Ali, Darious Young and Tevin Taylor to help make the final push into the playoffs. Freshman Diante Smith and Ty Andrades have given the Stars an energy and shooting boost throughout the season.
