Green MVP

When Lansing Community College's First Team All American Isaiah Green was chosen for the NJCAA National All Star Game it was the second year in a row that a player from LCC was chosen to participate.  In the 2016 game, Javon Haines, was an alternate from LCC and lead all players in scoring while garnering Most Valuable Player honors.  So, Isaiah had some shoes to fill.  And that is exactly what he did.

Scoring the first eight (8) points for the Division II/III All Star team and collecting four (4) rebounds in the first five (5) minutes of the game, Green stamp his imprint on the game immediately.  Isaiah, Eastern Michigan University commit, would eventually end the game with game highs in points (21), rebounds (15) and blocks (3) earning him Most Valuable Player honors.

By setting the tone with his defensive prowess the "All Star Game", which are usually offensive demonstartions of athleticism, would be a competitive game throughout with the Division II/III team beating the Division I team 19-91.  The game can be viewed at the following link:  All Star Game.
