Green named  First Team All American and Invited to National All Star Game

Lansing Community College Sophomore Isaiah Green has been named to the NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball First Team All American team.  Green, a sophomore from Southfield, MI and future Eastern Michigan University player, led the Stars to a 23-7 record and a top 20 ranking in the country.  While leading the country in blocked shots at 4.0 per game and being second in the country in rebounding with 13.5 rebounds per game, not only was he named to the All American team, but he was also the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Conference Player of the Year and two time Defensive Player of the Year.  In Green's career at Lansing Community College he amassed 1068 points, 758 rebounds and blocking 204 shots.  

On April 27th Green will be flying to Las Vegas, NV to participate in the NJCAA Men's Basketball All Star game comprised of 12 Division I players, 6 Division II players and 6 Division III players.  The game will be played on Saturday, April 29th at the Orleans Casino and Resort as part of a Nike clinic.  Green will also attend an awards banquet on Friday the 28th where his college coach, Mike Ingram will be inducted into the NJCAA Men's Basketball Hall of Fame.
