Bio

Playing Experience:

Coach Boyer played six years of collegiate baseball, three at Pratt Community College and three at Arkansas Tech University (NCAA - D2). After graduating, he became a Nuclear Engineer at ANO(Arkansas Nuclear One), where he began doing hitting lessons on the side. After two years of employment, he decided to shift into the coaching realm and has not looked back since.

Coaching Experience :

Floor trainer at Driveline Baseball while studying under Conner Watson and Travis Fitta. Coach Boyer spent his time studying biomechanics and core hitting metrics. He worked with various hitters from high school to the MLB level. Among many other things, he helped run biomechanical assessments, develop Blast and Hit Trax reports, and convey them to players in a digestible manner. While also getting experience with strength and conditioning and a brief introduction to pitching technology. In his time at Driveline, he used technology to improve baseball players and focused on KPIs that play at all levels.
In 2023, Coach Boyer was hired as the Director of Hitting and Hitting Coach of the Lansing Stars Baseball team.
